Destination

Shanghai is a popular destination for visitors to sense the pulsating development of the country. In addition to its modernization, the city's multicultural flair endows it with a unique glamour. Here, one finds the perfect blend of cultures, the modern and the traditional, and the western and the oriental. New skyscrapers and old Shikumen together draw the skyline of Shanghai. Western customs and Chinese traditions intertwined and formed Shanghai's culture, making a visitor's stay truly memorable.

Hangzhou is one of China's seven ancient capitals and has been designated by the government as a (Historic and Cultural City). Hangzhou's history can be traced back over 2,200 years to the Qin Dynasty (221 BC). It flourished after being linked with the Grand Canal, which starts in Beijing and ends in Hangzhou. It was originally the capital of the Wuyue Kingdom from 907 to 978 during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period. Then it became the capital of the Southern Song Dynasty in 1132.

Hangzhou is the birthplace of Dragon Well (Longjing) tea, which is the most famous green tea in China and ranked as first among China's top 10 teas.Hangzhou, known as the (Capital of Tea in China) has been one of the famous tea production bases in China since ancient times. The tea culture is an important part of Hangzhou.

Beijing's central city retains its carefully planned historic layout, arranged around a central north-south axis seven-and-a-half kilometers (five miles) long that passes through the city's entire central core, from the Bell Tower and Drum Tower in the north, through the Forbidden City at the center, to the site of the former Yung-ting Gate in the south. This central core is actually the remnant of two adjoining walled cities, whose outlines are retained although their walls are long gone—a roughly square-shaped (inner) city to the north and a rectangular (outer) city to the south.

Xian, located in central-northwest China, records the great changes of the country just like a living history book. Called Chang'an (meaning the eternal city) in ancient times, it is one of the birthplaces of the ancient Chinese civilization in the Yellow River Basin area. As the eastern terminal of the Silk Road and the site of the famous Terracotta Warriors of the Qin Dynasty, the city has won a reputation all over the world. More than 3,000 years of history including over 1,100 years as the capital city of ancient dynasties, have endowed the city with an amazing historical heritage. Travelers marvel at the numerous historical sites.

Yangshuo lies to the southeast of Guilin and in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The rippling Li River traverses the county and brings it breath-taking natural beauty. The county is regarded as one of the most beautiful counties in China and the local scenery is the essence of Guilin. It is also the termination of a Li River cruise. Ethnic groups’ special folk customs represented by their various festivals, and exotic flavors added by foreigners make this town more colorful. The West Street in town is the most popular site, gathering and dispatching a great number of tourists.
